Every.Thing.After Podcast

Hey ETA’ers, thanks for listening. We’re still in the early days of this podcast, and we’re glad you found us. The podcast is on Apple, Spotify, Youtube, and a few other channels. Just search for the Every.Thing.After podcast. You can also keep up with everything we do, which includes some concert photography and reviews, at our Instagram page, every_thing_after_photo. Like, follow, subscribe and comment or message us to let us know what your ETA is? An ETA can be anything that we are doing to stay creative, stay connected, and follow our passions at whatever stage of life we’re in, and sometimes against all odds. For example, my ETA is this podcast and also trying to be a rock’n’roll photographer and writer in my, let’s just say, midlife. (It’s not a midlife crises -- subtract the ”c” from ”crises” and you get ”rises!”) If you can relate, tell me about it. We’d love to have you on the show. Until next time.

Welcome to the Every Thing After Podcast, I'm Rob, and my guest on this episode is a young, up and coming musician, Jack Lutz. He's an Ohio native who I recently saw perform as the opener for the band I Don't Know How But They Found Me, fronted by another talented artist Dallan Weeks. Watch a little bit of Jack's set, and stick around for my 1-on-1 conversation with him.

After a concert, movie or episode of your favorite show, is your first instinct to want to talk about it, and how you feel about it, in depth, with anyone who will listen? The Every.Thing.After Podcast is the place where we, and you, can do that. We're a collective of creators and fans and just regular people who sometimes get to have conversations with bands, musicians, authors, artists. We hope you'll check us out on Apple Podcasts, Spotify or wherever you listen to podcasts. And join our community on Instagram ... just search for Every Thing After Photo ... where you can answer the question: What's your ETA?

In this episode of Knee Jerks: An ETA Podcast, Rob, Christy and Angela talk about summer TV ... how it's no longer the dead zone for original, high-quality shows ... and other ways it's changed with the proliferation of streaming services. We also rate some of the "can't-miss" shows coming out this summer, and beg for some time to catch up!

In this episode of the Every.Thing.After #podcast, Rob talks with special guests, Rick, Rudy and Dave of #Woolworthy, an #indie #powerpop #punk #band out of #Chicago that this summer is dropping a new 4-track EP, "Fall With You," which follows a 2023 #comeback #album #ElectricHeartbreak that marked their first in 18 years. The band formed in 1995, and has had five full-length LPs -- starting with 1997's self-titled album. Their #music and style is heavily influenced by bands like #TheReplacements, #GooGooDolls, #SoulAsylum, #GreenDay ... In this podcast #interview, they tell their origin story, their music after Woolworthy broke up in 2005, and what it's been like to reunite.

This is the podcast where we ask the question: What's your ETA? An ETA, or an Every.Thing.After, can be anything you're doing to create and be creative ... after doing something else for a while, or after and amid the crazy times we're all living in. It's connecting with other creative people, and sharing passions and pursuits. Subscribe, download and listen on Apple Podcasts and Spotify. And Follow us on Instagram at Every_Thing_After_Photo, where you'll find concert photography, reviews, and clips from our latest podcast episodes ... and can answer our question: What's your ETA? And maybe be a guest on a future episode.

Thanks for listening!

In this episode of the Every.Thing.After Podcast, Rob chats with Ellia Bisker and Jeff Morris of the indie goth folk band Charming Disaster ahead of their show at The Foundry in Cleveland. They talk about the band's new album, The Double, how they bonded over stories about their dead cats, many of the unique venues they've performed (including cemeteries, circuses and abandoned mines). They manifested a near future when the duo will be perfectly cast in shows like Netflix's "Wednesday" and a sequel to Ryan Coogler's "Sinners" ... and there is the little matter of whether or not they are actually vampires themselves.
